Recently, we reviewed how to upload a video to YouTube. A useful next step, is to know how to embed a video from YouTube into your Blackboard course. I have created a short video that will show one of the ways to do this.
What is an embedded video? Simply, the video on this webpage is embedded. That means, you don’t have to visit YouTube to access it. Since YouTube is hosting the video file, you don’t need to worry about storage capacity on your Blackboard course site.
Embedding video makes your site more visually dynamic – it’s not just text. Also, YouTube will caption your video – Blackboard won’t.
